Apple releases iOS 17.6, macOS 14.6, more

Today Apple released updates across all of their system software. There no new features (apart from multiple monitor support on MacBook Pro M3), but they do have bug fixes, performance improvements, and security fixes. So I suggest everyone update. With macOS Sequoia 15 and iOS 18 just around the corner in September/October, this is one of the final updates we'll see to the current software apart from security fixes.

Released today:

  • iOS 17.6

  • iPadOS 17.6

  • watchOS 10.6

  • tvOS 17.6

  • HomePod 17.6

  • visionOS 1.3

  • macOS Sonoma 14.6

As well as security patches for older software for those of you who cannot update to the latest OS:

  • iOS and iPadOS 16.7.9

  • iOS and iPadOS 15.8.3

  • macOS Ventura 13.6.8

  • macOS Monterey 12.7.6
