Apple releases 26.3 for iOS, macOS, and more

Last week, Apple released big updates across all OSes, bringing the version numbers to 26.3 (sorry, this week got busy for me, so this post is a little delayed). This update is almost entirely focused on bugs, performance, and small tweaks to the 26 software. I recommend everyone update as soon as they are able, as there are several security holes that hackers have actively exploited.

One small feature is new tools to make it easier to migrate to Android. In a joint venture, Apple and Google are both adding features to their devices, making it easier for users to switch in both directions.

These updates include:

  • iOS 26.3

  • macOS 26.3

  • watchOS 26.3

  • tvOS 26.3

  • HomePod OS 26.3

  • visionOS 26.3

  • iOS & iPadOS 18.7.5 (only for devices that can’t update to 26)

  • macOS Sequoia 15.7.4

  • macOS Sonoma 14.8.4

To update, go to Settings > General > Software Update.
