With Apple’s visual revamp in iOS 7, the visual cues that told you what is clickable were largely removed to make the interface cleaner and flatter. Now buttons and links are simply blue text. But with yesterday’s release of iOS 7.1, Apple has brought back the option to add more visual cues. Buttons get a box around them, links get underlined text like a hyperlink, and the currently selected tab has blue shading. To turn this setting on, go to the Settings app > General > Accessibility. In the second cluster of options, turn “Button shapes” on.
