macOS 10.12.2 Sierra released

Today Apple released the “point two” update for macOS Sierra. In addition to supporting the new emoji that was added in iOS 10.2, there are a lot of performance and bug fixes so I recommend that you update soon. Of particular interest are bug fixes for owners of the new Late 2016 MacBook Pros.

To install the update click the Apple menu > App Store. Switch to the Updates tab and give it a few moments to check your system. During the download you may continue to use your computer, but when you reboot your computer it will take 20 to 30 minutes to perform the upgrade during which you will not be able to use your Mac. You might be prompted for your Apple ID/iCloud Password after the installation completes.
