Minor Details

  • 13″ MacBook Air will continue sales but clearly it’s being phased out. For people on a budget who also find the current 12″ MacBook limiting.
  • 11″ MacBook Air no longer available.
  • Previous generation MacBook Pros are still available for customers who wish to have legacy ports (strangely at the same price as before). 13″ for $1,300 / 15″ for $1,999.
  • No announced changes to MacBook, Mac Pro, or iMac lines.
  • LG UltraFine Display has three USB-C ports and provides power to the MacBook Pro through the same cable. 15″ MacBook can run two of these. 5K for $1,299 / 4K for $699.
  • Previously announced Apple Watch Nike+ available tomorrow.
  • Pocket Minecraft for Apple TV featuring network gameplay with iPad and iPhone, later this year.
  • “TV” app for tvOS and iOS serves as a unified portal for video content across apps, available in December.
  • AirPods wireless earphones were previously announced for late October but they are delayed.
