iOS 15.0.1, iPadOS 15.0.1 released

iOS 15.0.1 update screen

Today Apple released the first update for iOS and iPadOS 15. Specifically mentioned in the release notes, this update fixes a problem that some iPhone 13 users were having with the feature that allows them to bypass Face ID while wearing a mask if also wearing an Apple Watch. Even if this bug wasn’t affecting you, you should still update if you upgraded to the new iOS 15 already as there are also security fixes and some fixes for some other minor bugs.

To update your iPhone go to the Settings app > General > Software Update.
